FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How does purchasing a property from your site work?

Contact us about the property you would like. We will get your information and send you a contract to review. If you still want to move forward, you’ll electronically sign your contract and it will get sent to the closing attorney for title work. Then we’ll set a closing date and in no time, the land will be yours!

Are there any hidden fees when buying land from you?

Our fees are straightforward and they are listed on every property page. A due diligence fee is required when the property goes under contract. Other than that, your only fees will be standard closing fees. Usually around ~$750, depending on the property.

Are you a real estate agent?

No! And no offense to our many real estate agent friends out there, but using an agent, particularly when buying land is just not necessary. A large percentage of vacant land in the US is sold direct from owner to buyer, with no agents. This helps cuts costs for all involved. Simple contracts and a top-notch title company are all you need for a successful sale.

Why are your properties so cheap?

We pay cash for our properties, which means we get them below market value from sellers. Some of those savings we pass along to you! Our business model is one of moving properties fast, so we price them below market value for quick sales. We also don’t have to pay real estate agent commissions and we have negotiated affordable rates for quick closings with our usual title company. All reasons you can get an amazing property at a great price!

Can you keep me help me look for a specific kind of property?

Absolutely! Contact us with the location and type of property you are looking for. We will add you to our buyer’s list where you will get early access to every property before it goes on the market!

How do I know if this is a safe way to purchase property?

We sell dozens of properties every year and we can provide references from many happy customers who now own their own land thanks to us. You are also welcome to contact the title/closing company which conducts many of our closings, McCollum Law PLLC in Raleigh, NC. They will vouch for our excellent business record!
